Our Team

Cheryl – RDH
Cheryl received her degree in Dental Hygiene from Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She brings her vast knowledge of the dental field to our office. Cheryl has over 20 years experience in dentistry and is a native of Marin County. She is committed to her patients’ care and comfort. Cheryl appreciates seeing the oral health improvements achieved by her patients.
Jaynie – RDH
Jaynie Kirby of Novato has joined the dental team of Dr. Thomas Poksay as a registered dental hygienist in October, 2010. She has over 11 years of experience as a dental hygienist in San Francisco. Jaynie studied at Indiana University where she earned her degree in Dental Hygiene. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association.
Sherry – RDAEF2
Sherry graduated from Santa Rosa Jr. College and earned her Registered Dental Assisting license in 1996. She later attended the University of California, San Francisco, receiving her Extended Function license. Sherry has continued her education at Sacramento City College and has graduated as a Board Certified RDAEF2 giving her the necessary training and skills to permanently place crowns and fillings. Her gentle touch and friendly disposition are what keep patients smiling.
Nu – RDA
Nu graduated from Santa Rosa Jr. College in the summer of 2010 and earned her Registered Dental Assisting license. She currently lives in Santa Rosa with her husband and four children. Nu is eager to start her new profession in Dentistry and has a passion for providing patients with comfort and ease while in the dental chair. Nu also received her Associate of Arts Degree with Dean’s Honors from Santa Rosa Jr. College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Sonoma State University. With her friendly echoes of laughter that roams the back office, patients will feel like they are right at home when receiving treatment.
Lana – Administrator
Lana was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and moved to Novato, CA in 1990. She attended the University of Oregon where she earned her BBA in Business Management. Lana is a familiar face behind the front desk and has worked in the office since 1995. She works tirelessly for patients and always makes herself available to handle any questions or concerns in person or over the phone.
Lori – Administrator
Lori has lived in Marin most of her life. She moved to Novato in 1984 when she married and has two adult boys. Her background includes an Associate of Arts from the College of Marin and has been working with the public in accounts payable, customer and managerial services for over 30 years. Lori joined our office in February, 2007 and is enjoying being a part of a fun and professional office team.
